Some days are simply unforgettable 🦁 🐾 Today, Sout Some days are simply unforgettable 🦁 🐾 Today, South Luangwa National Park put on quite a show. Hippos splashed, giraffes wandered gracefully across the plains, elephants ambled past, warthogs sprinted with their tails in the air, a crocodile basked in the sun, and I was lucky enough to spot both lions and a magnificent leopard. I even met a curious little genet on the night drive 🐾 From a golden sunrise to a fiery African sunset, every hour brought a new surprise. Days like this remind me that nature always writes the best stories 🐾 #abearcalledpaddington #paddingtonbear #southluangwa #zambia #travelbear
Now this is a room with a view 🦛🌿 🐾 I’ve arrived i Now this is a room with a view 🦛🌿 🐾 I’ve arrived in Mfuwe, right on the edge of South Luangwa National Park, where I’ll be glamping for the next two days and heading out on plenty of game drives in search of Africa’s incredible wildlife 🐾 The best part? I don’t even have to leave my tent to start my safari. Across the river, a whole pod of hippos has been keeping me company. I always imagined hippos would be rather quiet… turns out they’re some of the noisiest neighbours I’ve ever had! A little life update from Zambia 🐻🇿🇲 🐾 I’m back in A little life update from Zambia 🐻🇿🇲 🐾 I’m back in Lusaka for another pet sit. No lions or elephants this time, just three very adorable doggies who have already decided I make excellent company 🐾 The garden here is half perfectly manicured lawn and half untamed bush, criss-crossed with little paths just waiting for a curious bear to explore. I have a feeling there are plenty of adventures hiding out there 🐾 This is home until mid August, so I’d best get my walking paws ready. Wish me luck... and hopefully not too many encounters with the local wildlife! 🌿 🐾 #abearcalledpaddington #paddingtonbear #lusaka #zambia #travelbear
It’s my birthday today… and I’m feeling a little d It’s my birthday today… and I’m feeling a little discombobulated 🎈 🐾 Back home it should be summer, but here in Lusaka it’s winter. The funny thing is, the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and everything looks as though it forgot to tell the seasons what they’re supposed to be doing 🐾 I’m not entirely sure whether to ask for ice cream or hot chocolate, but I do know one thing, birthdays are best spent with a smile, a little adventure and perhaps an extra slice of cake 🎂 🐾 #abearcalledpaddington #paddingtonbear #birthdaybear #lusaka #travelbear
