Our time in Nepal took us through the busy streets, temples and momo restaurants of Kathmandu, into the beautifully preserved squares and old neighbourhoods of Bhaktapur, and up into the hills for a short escape to Nagarkot. From ancient stupas and Newari architecture to mountain views and some of the best food of our trip, Nepal gave us a wonderful mix of history, culture and everyday local life.
